Students and their families will meet their peers, program coordinators and mentors

Session 2 - Saturday, October 19

Community Organization Day

  • Hear from local community groups about the need of the community

  • Discuss, choose, and outline a service project


Session 3 - Saturday, November 16

Civic Engagement Day

  • Hear from local government leaders about the importance of being involved in your community

  • We will highlight how and where it is appropriate for youth to get involved at their current age (Student Council, school leadership, school board) VS what that will look like as they grow up.


Session 4 (Holiday Party) - Thursday, December 12

Holiday Party featuring “dress for success”

  • Learn about situational dress, and a formal dinner setting while having fun at our Holiday Party


Session 5 - Saturday, January 18

Qualities of a Leader Day

  • Hear from local business owners and entrepreneurs on what it takes to be a successful leader

  • Learn about what makes a leader successful


Session 6 - Saturday, February 15

Financial Literacy Day

  • Learn about the basics of budgeting, taxes and credit


Session 7 - Saturday, March 22

Service Project

  • Put into action the service project you and your classmates have been working on throughout the semester


Session 8 - Saturday, April 19

Review and Reflection

  • Review past goals and revamp for the coming summer and next year.

  • Reflect on the service project and the impact you made in your community


Session 9 (Graduation!) - Saturday, May 17

Graduation

  • Let’s Celebrate your success and hardworking this year!
