Youth Leadership Academy

Welcome to the Youth Leadership Academy! A place where we empower and inspire opportunity youth to reach their full potential.

At the Youth Leadership Academy, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed and make a positive impact in their community. We understand the unique challenges that opportunity youth face and are committed to providing them with the guidance and support they need to thrive.

In collaboration with Humble ISD, we work closely together to identify two 10th graders from each high school who would benefit from our mentorship program. These students are carefully selected based on their potential and desire to excel.

Our mentorship program is the cornerstone of our efforts. Each identified student is paired with a dedicated mentor who serves as a role model, guide, and supporter throughout their journey. Our mentors are experienced professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

The mentorship program consists of nine monthly sessions that take place from 9 am to 3 pm. During these sessions, students engage in a variety of activities and workshops designed to enhance their leadership skills, build their self-confidence, and develop their personal and academic goals. Our goal is to equip them with the tools and resources they need to succeed, both in their education and in their future endeavors.

We believe that by investing in the potential of opportunity youth, we can create a brighter and more inclusive future for our community. Through our mentorship program, we aim to empower these students to become leaders, change-makers, and advocates for positive change.
